Brethren, April was a very busy month. At the Stated Meeting, the committee upon the application of Mr. Jeffrey William Rogers returned a favorable report and the Brethren of 357 elected him to receive the degrees of Masonry in this Lodge. Also at the Stated Meeting, Brothers Todd Overturf and Yancy Olairez were officially installed as our Sr. and Jr. Stewards respectively. Brother Aaron Reddoch was promoted and installed as our Marshall. Therefore, our Lodge now has a complete line of officers (less the Organist) and includes only two Past Masters. This is great news for our Lodge. Also in the month of April, Mr. Lester Cajayon Santos received his 1st Degree conferral. Congratulations to our newly initiated Brother. In addition, our 2009 District Ritual Competition was held on April 30th and team 357 lead by Brother Bert Spencer and including Worshipful Brother Henry Nowland and Brother Aaron Reddoch did a fantastic job. Please join me in congratulating these Brothers for their efforts in this endeavor. At this time, I do not have a date for the Divisional competition however, it will be in May. On May 14th we will have the 1st. Degree conferral for Mr. Jeffrey Rogers. Please plan to come down and support the officers for this event. On May 21st we will be having a Lodge sponsored “Masonic Family Night” which will include food and refreshments and a variety of fun activities for kids and adults alike. Please RSVP by May 15th to This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it .  Also I wish to encourage the Brethren to join us at the annual City of Buena Park Memorial Day Celebration on May 25th (Memorial Day) at George Bellis Park located at 7171 8th Street in Buena Park. This is an annual event that includes many different clubs and associations within Buena Park such as the Elk’s, Moose Lodges and the Rotary Club to name a few. There will be a Pancake breakfast served at 8:00AM with the actual program beginning at 10:00AM. At the April Stated Meeting the Brethren voted to appropriate $150.00 to the program which includes the luncheon at our Lodge immediately following the program at Bellis Park. One last note; our Public Schools night had to be rescheduled Tuesday, May 19th at 6:00PM. Dinner shall be provided. Fraternally, Chuck Hayes Master
