Brethren,

This will be my last trestle board message to you.  With your support, I have completed my year, and we will shortly install my successor.  Brother Hayes will take the oriental chair in a tradition begun in our lodge 106 years ago.  

I have always been proud to be a member of Solomon’s Staircase lodge.  As a member, an officer, and as master, I have always found a warm handshake and willingness from each of you to lend a helping hand.  Worshipful Hayes has a fine group to help him in his year.  

Our installation this year is on Saturday, 10 January at 2:00 PM.  I hope all of you can make it.  It should be a great time.  We will have a practice for the installation on Tuesday, 6 January at 7:00 PM.  All those involved in the ceremony should be present. 

I hope all of you enjoyed our activities and programs this year.  We had some laughs and we made some mistakes.  Thanks again to everyone for all the support.  It has been an honor to serve.
