NEWS NEWS NEWS NEWS!Most everyone have received their April TRESTLE BOARD. Our monthly stated meeting dinner will be catered and will start at 6:30 p.m. We hope to have another good turnout of masons, wives, and guests. As usual, our monthly Stated Meeting will follow the dinner at 7:30 p.m. At this business meeting, Aaron Reddoch will move from Sr. Steward and be installed as Marshal, Todd Overturf will move from Jr. Steward and be installed as Sr. Steward, and Yancy Olairez will be installed as Jr. Steward. With this installation, we will then have a FULL LINE OF APPOINTED AND ELECTED OFFICERS. All Master Masons are encouraged to attend. Fraternally, Bert Spencer Chaplain Brethren - As mentioned at O.S.I. Tuesday night, we will have a practice on Thursday, February 26 at 7:00 p.m. We will practice for the Annual Official Visit of our Inspector, Worshipful Merritt E. Read, P.M. Also, with several applications being processed, we will probably spend some time on the First Degree. For any golfers who missed O.S.I., Ron Maxwell mentioned a golf tournament on Monday, May 11 at Upland. The cost is $110 per person or $420 for a foursome. The time is from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Prior to golfing there will be a breakfast, a lunch while golfing and a dinner after golfing. Please contact Ron if you are interested. Both lodges in our District will participate in the Annual Grand Lodge Competition Contest. It covers the work of the Marshal, the perambulations, and the charges. Merritt Read will work with the two Masters to determine a Thursday night in April when the district competition will occur. Fraternally, Bert Brethren - Please review your February Trestleboard for the latest information on this month's Lodge activities and some exciting future plans. Most of you will remember the great Potlucks we had in the past. The brothers who have been working hard in the kitchen are being asked to lay down their working tools because the dinner on Thursday, February 5th, at 6:30 PM will be "Pot Luck". SO BRING YOUR FAVORITE DISH. Our Stated Meeing will be at 7:30 PM. Along with other business the annual financial reports and budget will be covered. We are looking forward to a live Third Degree for Brother Yancy Olairez on Thursday, February 12 at 7:00 P.M. Master of our Lodge, Chuck Hayes, has tickets for the Grand Master Reception which is Sunday , March 29 at the Anaheim DeMolay Center. The cost is $20.00 per person. Fraternally, Bert Spencer 11/10/08 Brethren - On Thursday, November 13 at 7:00 p.m. there will be 2nd Degree Proficiencies and a "live" 2nd Degree as follows: 7:00 p.m. Long Form 2nd Degree Proficiencies will be returned by Brothers Aaron Reddoch and Todd Overturf. After the Proficiencies we will have a 2nd Degree for Brother Yancy Olairis. 2nd Degrees are always entertaining and it is hoped there will be a good turnout in support of your Lodge activities. A lot of effort is extended by your elected and appointed officers and your attendance is really appreciated. Fraternally, Bert Spencer 10/23/08 Brethren - I just received a phone call invitation from the Long Beach Scottish Rite for an upcoming Regional On-The-Level Program "The Rose Upon the Altar" Program is open to the public, is free, and d'oevres will be served. This is a wonderful opportunity for us to invite neighbors, friends, and prospective members. Paulene and I saw this program several years ago and it is very informative and entertaining. 1.
